Stable connection
The spigot, which is firmly screwed to the fore-end, is fixed in the middle of the bipod by a locking mechanism. The weapon’s center of gravity is thus between the feet of the bipod and provides an extremely stable base for the barrel. Once locked, the weapon and bipod form a single unit.
Adjustable feet in height and inclination
The spring-loaded feet are height adjustable between 18.5 and 28.5 cm. By briefly lifting the bipod and applying light pressure to the feet, they extend using a spring. This is particularly practical because you can easily adjust the bipod to the required height from your already assumed sitting or lying position. The feet are also adjustable in terms of inclination angle to compensate for uneven terrain or to align the weapon diagonally up or down for a shot. The adjustment is made in notches with predefined inclination angles of 0°, 45°, 90°, 135° and 180°. There are metal spikes under the rubber covers on the feet for a secure stand.
Practical handling
Another highlight: The spring-loaded feet can be folded and locked in the direction of travel for transport. This means that the bipod can remain on the weapon if you want to continue stalking, but it points in the extended direction of travel so that you do not get caught or hindered unnecessarily. Pleasantly light: The anodized aluminum body and the carbon feet ensure low weight while remaining stable and robust. Carbon also stands for the material property of absorbing the recoil of the weapon very well.
The set consists of two parts – the bipod and the fore-end cap. The fore-end caps are available in three different sizes for the barrel variants “Standard”, “Semiweight/Hunting Match” and Silence. The bipod set is compatible with the R8 Ultimate, Ultimate Silence, Professional and Professional Success.
